Justice Connection’s advocacy work aims to educate the public and policymakers on the vital role DOJ’s career workforce has in keeping Americans safe and their rights protected. It is career employees with specialized expertise and years of experience who prosecute violent crime, investigate national security violations, safeguard our welfare through antitrust and fraud enforcement, ensure access to jobs, schooling, voting, housing, and other opportunities are free from discrimination, and keep our environment clean and safe.

DOJ’s reckless abandonment of institutional norms and the rule of law under this administration is driving away the apolitical career workforce that fulfills the department’s mission. 

Through our advocacy campaigns, Justice Connection works with the media and lawmakers to raise awareness of the perils of a politicized Justice Department. We marshall our vast alumni network to warn against dangerous appointments, call out improper investigative processes, sound the alarm on abuses committed by department leaders, and support the dedicated career public servants still working at DOJ.
